Awesome art at 8 years old!

Christian is an older brother to 2 sisters Georgia 6 and Hannah 4. We live on the Gold Coast in Australia. Both Christian, 8 and his sister Georgia whom is 6 are diagnosed with Usher Syndrome Type 1B. There certainly have been many extra unexpected challenges as parents over the years especially having more than one child with the diagnosis, however we are living a very positive life. Our family have not had the opportunity to get away together on a big family trip before so this last week was very special. We travelled up north just 2 hour flight to Hamilton Island. It is here we have really enjoyed taking a step  back and trying to relax. Kids are out of school, husband, Michael having his first time off in over 18 months and mum so very happy to have the family together with hubby not working. It was here we have lots of wonderful fun filled days but today I especially wanted to share with the Usher Community the talent of my eldest son whom attended an art class whilst away and it was his first painting. We all know our kids can achieve so much and much much more! Such proud parents. We are staying on an Island so the painting is depicting this.
